Who Am I?

  • My life as a wife, mother, and child of God. I can tell a good joke, but only at my own expense. I can tell ya how to parent, but only by first failing. And I can tell you how to get to Heaven, but you gotta get there on your own.

I am proud to know someone who can cause such a tho.g with words from the heart. There are times I wordy about the state of our world, but its people like you and the ones you've rallied together that are our hope for a brighter future and the assurance of good in our evil world. Thank you so much ps still waiting on Carmens addy. They are in Houston right now at the cancer hospital.

You are right, pretty amazing! I hope the people who wanted to donate but couldn't will consider donating to some one in their community or someone they hear about on a blog or something. Just love this whole thing!

Wow, what a wonderful idea!! I just ran across your blog this morning, so I wasnt involved, but thanks for the idea! This is an amazing way to touch someone, and I want to find a way for my church ladies to use it too. I agree, this kind of blesing will have profound effects on a lot of people!!

ClassiclyAmber

hi Amanda,
When i first read your post about the cookie idea i wanted to nominate myself (for personal reasons), my sister who recently had a baby that i have not met yet, and my mom who has been feeling under the weather lately. We live in three different states and cannot visit as much as we would love to. But after reading the comments left I didn't feel like we deserved cookies. But seeing that there are more volunteers who were not matched up, do you think they might be willing to make some for us?
thanks you

mang

This is awesome. You and the volunteers are just awesome. :)

YOU are awesome Amanda. It was such a privilege to be a part of this amazing cause you created. Wishing you a happy and healthy delivery. Your new baby has a momma who has made a big difference in the world. Thanks for all you do!

Gianna

Oh, my word! I am posting tomorrow about this. Encouraging others to go out and do something nice for someone to show them some love. All this before I even read your blog! Oh, man! Now I totally look like a copy cat!
Sorry!

Hi Amanda!!
Just letting you know that I just re-sent an email that I sent you last week. It is from TheRichardHome @ aol.com Maybe it is going to your spam or something? So I just wanted to let you know this way too. : )

Kaitlin

I hope you'll keep me on that waiting list if you get any more requests. You're an amazing person :)

Myrna

Amanda, you are quite amazing and inspirational! Your generosity is your gift as well. You've stirred me into carrying this torch you have lit. I'm "Passing it on"! I will post on my FB page the same request you made of your readers, but don't worry, I'll be making the cookies to help brighten up someone's day. Don't be surprised if you see a surge of hits on your blogsite this weekend! I made a link to your original posting=)

My family was one of the recipients of the cookie gifts.
I do not have words to describe my daughter's face when she opened the box: there were polka dots - pink and yellow chicks perfectly individually wrap with matching bows.
Thanks for making her day extra special, we are humble by your wonderful idea.
God bless you!
