Who Am I?

  • My life as a wife, mother, and child of God. I can tell a good joke, but only at my own expense. I can tell ya how to parent, but only by first failing. And I can tell you how to get to Heaven, but you gotta get there on your own.

That is so sweet! Gotta love the purity of childhood entertainment.

Joy

Out of the mouth of babes! You are definitely teaching your children the right thing!

Tai

LOVE this story. Nothing is better than a child reminding you how amazing Jesus is. I really enjoy your blog. You can read about my kids loving Jesus here:

:) LOVE IT!!!!

Jenny

That is too funny. Andrew does the same thing - over and over with the Knock Knock jokes and they absolutely make no sense and he just laughs and laughs. I'll miss these days.

Joy

Sounds like you're doing a good job of training them up in the way they should go... =o)

Jessica @ How Sweet

That certainly is a proud moment!

mindy

That is too sweet!!! I love that my life is all about teaching my children to know who He is. The knock knock jokes sound all too familiar to me!

That's precious! I love it when my kids speak freely about Jesus. It's such a blessing watching their hearts grow with love for Him.

And they make up nonsensical knock-knock's, too--and often in the car. It's hilarious!

Gianna

At least your kids say real words! Mine make them up and so NOTHING except the knock knock makes sense. It's especially great when I have to repeat the non-word they just made up and I get it wrong. Oh, yes. It's fantastic!
You totally gotta love it.

Stephanie

adorable. :)

kelli

Awwwwwwwww! How precious! :) You SHOULD be very proud!

Ruth

Awwwww.....

Jaylene

So cute! My kids used to tell the exact same kind of knock knock jokes. The newest one is:

knock knock.
Who's there?
A kitty (or a horse, or a dog, or anything really)
A kitty who?
A kitty for you!!! (followed with the required hilarious laughter... followed by knock knock...)

Jenney

Totally said "Who's there" when I read the post title.
You have precious children...your new little one will be blessed to have them as siblings.

Kari

Smiling away here. Aren't kids amazing?! It sounds just like conversations in our house and in the car. The kids bust up laughing over their jokes and I grin ear to ear with enjoyment at how much they are enjoying their jokes etc. Precious about Jesus too... haven't had that one at my house yet. :)

Blessings, Kari

Heather

I love your kid stories...so sweet.

Jessica Fowler

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has to listen to super silly Knock-Knock jokes! My kids(ages 2,3,4) favorite right now is Knock Knock! Who's there? Banana. Banana who? Why ya crying?! Then the giggles go on for 5 minutes until they tell the same joke again! Gotta love kids!

Renee (Kudos Kitchen)

Wonderful how you can document these touching stories in your blog. The modern moms version of a diary except that you share them with all of us. This touched my heart at well. Love!

Rachel

Oh My Lord - I love that! What a great picture to imagine them so excited that Jesus came to see them!

Michelle

That's the BEST knock knock joke EVER!!

Heather
