Oh,Amanda!! I *love* the sun/water cake! They're all awesome, but that one...well, it totally takes the cake! ;-)

Katie B

Awesome! Love the sun set/rise one. You should do a leaf tip next!

Deborah

LOVE LOVE LOVE the rainbow cake! That is just plain GORGEOUS!!

sweetsugarbelle

Amanda, the "pom pom" cake as I am calling it, is maybe one of my favorite cakes you have ever made. And the sunrise? I really do not have words for how beautiful I think it is. The shading and the design...wow. That's all. Wow. Belle wants the pom pom one for her birthday she said. Don't know how I'm going to break it to her that her momma is not going to be making that, LOL!

Naina

I am absolutely in love with all of these, especially cake #2!

Mellybrown

Oh my goodness, I LOVE these cakes! You are so talented and creative. My favorite is the rainbow. It reminds me of a patchwork quilt. I had been trying to think of a creative way to decorate a rainbox layer cake and I think this might be it. I like the touch of white in there to balance it out. Did you do an extra bit of white on top of the yellow? I can't really tell. Good job!

Rachel @ Baked by Rachel

LOVE the rainbow colored cake! I want a slice of that baby. So fun and cheery.

Skye

These are AWESOME!! Wow! Just... Wow!

Yael

Wow that's amazing. What kind of colors do you use to get such vibrant frosting?

Vanessa

Simply, WOW! You're creativity never ceases to amaze me. Thanks for sharing such awesome stuff! :)

Phyllis

Cannot pick a favorite. Each one is so different and so great. You are amazing.

Gloria Castano

WOW!!! Great job!!!!

Jay

Awesome! your second cake reminds me of the nights DH & I would watch the sun go down at our favorite beach in Hawaii. I love it!

Georganne

These are FANTASTIC!!! You are SO CREATIVE! I am in love with the sun cake. It's beautiful and so very, very different!

cassie

You are amazing!!! I love all of them. Hands down though, I'm in love with the sun & water one. Maybe because I want to be on a beach looking up at the sun. =D You rock!

Teresa

So beautiful, the three of them! When I grow up I want to decorate cakes like you ;-)
Teresa
A portuguese food blogger and a big fan of yours!

Jaime

SO cool! I love how different each one is. That rainbow one rocks. I can see and imperfect crumb coat not mattering one little bit. :) Not that that ever happens to anyone...

Kristy@cook.eat.play

I love the sunset cake the best. It's so different to anything I've seen in a cake before. I think the grass tip really accentuates the picture and gives it a texture like an oil painting.

Kara@butterheartssugar

I love this tip but like you said have really only ever used it for one thing, grass. These ideas are fantastic I love the sunset cake its so creative, definitely and artwork. But I adore the last cake, it looks like its covered it little rainbow pompoms.

Karen

I love the rainbow cake. I am obsessed with rainbows and roses too. I would love it if you would tackle the tip that makes roses next and maybe show us how to make some sweet simple roses or buds. Thanks for all you do!

Jess Desserts

You did an AMAZING job!! I hope you're very proud of yourself! Beautiful cakes...each and every one!
I'd love to see what you would do with Wilton tip #352, it's usually used for making leaves.

Diane

I replyed to your email but will post it here..What about tip 250 I know you can tell what it should be used for but what else ?
It's a specialty Tip from Wilton.

Tammy

Yum!!!! These cakes look amazing. I want some. lol

Wenderly

You never cease to amaze me. Never.

Christina

AMANDA!!! You are SO TALENTED!!
You constantly amaze me!
XOXO

Hilary

My cake decorating skills are next to nothing, so I'm living vicariously through you! And I love it!! :)

Danee Kaplan

The Van Gogh is GENIUS. Geeeennneeeous. I also love the multi colored cake. If you described them I would say "yuck" but somehow it just works. Frankly they are all cute and I'm impressed that you did all that with a such an unloved tip.

Lynne @ 365 Days of Baking

Amanda you most certainly ARE an artist - absolutely beautiful work, girl!! They are truly magnificent!! I would think that the last one ( being the easiest, as you said) would actually have been the hardest! It certainly looks time consuming. You can decorate a cake with any kind of tip for me anytime!

Rachel

you clever clogs! I like the sun one the best, but they are all fabo

Jaclyn

I think this is a great challenge. You are truly talented! =)

Renee

Bravo! Well done! You aced this one :) I love the sunset one, but all are amazing.

Sylvie @ Gourmande in the Kitchen

I like the rainbow one a lot too, it's got a nice happy feel and great texture.

meaghan

That rainbow one is my favorite of all! Reminds me of pom poms or '70s or something utterly fabulous. (posted a link on edible crafts)

HannahBee

OH.EM.GEE!!!!!!!! SO SO SO amazing!!!!!

Diane {Created by Diane}

Amanda you are a DYNAMO!!! These are gorgeous :) Love the sun cake, looks 70's inspired, it's way cool-but really pretty in an updated way. Love looking at your work, very inspiring!

Rose

ursula-apples

These are amazing! The sun one is my favourite.

HeatherChristo

Now I'm in trouble Amanda! My daughter just saw these cakes and since she is having a "rainbow" birthday party next week, this is the cake she would like. AAAAHHH!! I'm scared! I'm not very frosting savvy. I'm more of a spreader than a piper?!

Georgia Pellegrini

Um... I don't even know what to say. You are amazing.

lynn.dunn@dunmoorhomes.com

wow. My first time here. I have to see what else you have been up to!

Kelli

The rainbow cake makes me think of the old school Alice in Wonderland cartoon. Weren't there some little 'fuzzy' creatures that scurried around? Either way, cute!

Nancy@acommunaltable

Every time I click on your blog I am never prepared for what I see - you never cease to amaze me!!! Never, in my wildest dreams would I conceive of these cakes (which I suppose says something about my dreams, doesn't it! LOL!!)
Truly love your creativity - keep it coming!!

Deepali Jain

MrsAB

OMGoodness!!!! These cakes are AWESOME!!! AWESOME! Did I say AWESOME!!! OMGoodness. As my 2 yr. daughter would say "YOU ROCK!" I'm not sure which is my favorite. I love the sunset one. Truly amazing. Your talents never cease to amaze me. You have surely given us all something to think about. Wow!

morgana

Your creativity has no limit !! All of them are AWESOME. The one with the sun I think is my favorite.

Loriensblueberrycake.blogspot.com

These are as gorgeous as ever, Amanda. I really love your ideas!! The sky and sun cake is very pretty - I only use this tip for grass too, so it's great to get some other ideas of how to use it :)

Thank you!

Lx

lisa skiles

Really great to see beyond the purpose of the grass tip. Very fun indeed. The colors ARE awesome. While cakes are not really my thing, I might have to give this a try!
Hugs,
Lisa
