Gorgeous my dear! Drooling at 7am :) xoxo

"Tweaked" with 6 milky way bars....fabulous! These look like the ultimate party food girl :)

Oh. My. I do think I will have to cook this recipe. MilklyWay is my all time favorite candy bar!! Definitely a combo made in heaven!!

Georgia Pellegrini

These look divine!

kind of amazing. loving your photos of the little ice cream treats. i am going to make these and go for the "27' xx

Milky Way bars idea is pure genius. I'm partial to Three Musketeers (though it doesn't have caramel), I'll try this one with the Musketeers instead :) Thanks Amanda!

Caroline @ chocolate and carrots

Yum!!! Those look so amazing!!!

Amy | She Wears Many Hats

Oh dear Amanda...I'm thinking I may need to hold off on starting back to my eating plan a few days and try these out. So yummy!

Cookbook Queen

Where were you late last night when I was craving chocolate, caramel, and tons and tons of calories? Sigh.

Looks amazing.

At Anna's kitchen table

Just one word, because I'm drooling too much!

Oh. My. Goodness. What a perfect mix oatmeal, chocolate and caramel... I think I have to run and buy some chocolate bars... if not Milky Way then Caramilk will have to do. Thank you so much for sharing with us :)

I adore Milky Ways. Goodness, yes. The answer is yes. I'll see you in an hour.

Anyone tried this with Snickers--choc, caramel and peanuts? I'm a Snickers gal.

Your recipe looks delicious! Just found your blog.

Looks amazing! I have to give a shout out to my maternal grandmother. For years, she has made Milky Way frosting by melting the candy bars. Oh so good!!

Oh WOW Amanda........you know I'm on sugar over load and these still look amazing!......I think I need to stay away from you for a few days! haha

Lucy Lean

This looks like my kind of chocolate/sugar fest - can't wait to make these up.

bridget {bake at 350}

Oh, GIRL!!! I will not be able to think of anything BUT these bars today. MUST MAKE!

Amber | Bluebonnets & Brownies

You crazy crazy genius!

Key word here: Milky Way. :)
As if Martha's weren't bad enough too. Oh well, one more teeny weeny bar with a little bit of ice cream won't kill me.

Holy moley!

Marie Baars

I think that I need to make these! Only I don't think we have milky way bars in Canada...I will have to pick some up next time I cross the border!

Strawberry CAKE

Good Heavens Amy! These look AmaaaZING!

Erika Beth, the Messy Chef

I think it's a sin to mention oatmeal, brownies, and milky ways within the same sentence. Yes, I'm sure it's the 14th commandment. Seriously, these look so sinfully good! Mmmm! My mouth is starting to water!

Foodness Gracious

Your blog is awesome!! I am excited to follow and check out the rest of your recipes...

I think that I've just died and gone to heaven...you just combined a couple of my f-a-v-o-r-i-t-e things AND two of my favorite women.

One word *fabulous*

Lori @ RecipeGirl

You are brilliant. You can consider yourself added to that duo of fabulous women to make it a trio... and now it's Martha, Ree and Amanda :)

Lisa (With Style and Grace)

Incredible!! You continue to amaze me with your beautiful creativity in the kitchen - keep it up girl! xo

mine didn't have as much caramel in the middle and the mixture was quite wet - what did I do wrong?? They still taste delicious!! :)

oh my... looking at your blog is such a treat!

Jen @ My Kitchen Addiction

Oh my goodness... These are pure genius! I am going to go see if I have the ingredients to make these this afternoon. If not, I'll be begging the hubby to run to the store :)

megan @ whatmegansmaking

AMAZING! These are sure to be a hit :)

Karen Gulley

These look fabulous and I've decided to make them for Father's Day this weekend! I just have a quick question...in the recipe that you posted it says "2 Milky Way Bars", but when you describe how you "tweaked" the recipe you say you added 6 bars...I'm obviously missing something:) Also, I am assuming they are the regular sized bars...?
Thanks so much for your help,
Karen Gulley

Amanda Rettke

Hi Karen!

I made TWO versions of this bar. The first version I made is Marthas, and the only change I made was to the caramel mixture, on which I substituted six milky way bars. (there is a picture of the twodifferentbars in the post)

The second version is the bigger, brownie bar. That is the recipe that I have listed. In that recipe I used a bag of caramels and two milky way bars.

Hope that helps!

These look so incredibly rich!
