I dont know if you knew, but there is a Royal wedding happening this weekend. It hasn't been really widely publicized so it might have slipped your attention. (this would be a perfect time for that sarcasm font)
Apparently, a handsome young prince is going to marry his commoner fiance who will then someday be queen and they will all live happily every after.
I heard that the wedding is set to cost $32-$60 million.
That really doesnt have anything to do with anything, I just think its fascinating.
You may remember this little hydrangea cake I did.
Or maybe even my rose cake.
I decided to just put them together and see what happened.
I dont know! What do you think???
Anywho... I wanted to dedicate this cake to some very special people.
This cake is dedicated to all of the ladies who planned their wedding for this weekend. To every woman who has ever had the dream of being the center of attention for just one day, of looking like a princess, of feeling like she was living her very own fairy tale.
This cake is just for you.
I hope no one is sneaking glances at their iphone as you walk down the aisle.
I hope no one misses the ceremony because they are watching Joan Rivers recap of the days fashions.
I hope the day is all about you and just you.
And if its not, give me a holla. I will send ya some cake. :)
*Just for the record, in no way do I think this cake is Royal Wedding worthy. I cant wait to see the actual Royal Cake! :)

I added this cake to the round up over at I'm Loving It. You cn also add something that you are lovin!

At least they're getting married on Friday, instead of Saturday, so there are fewer brides to overlap! They'll get to have their OWN day on Saturday!
LOVE the cake...I've made the rose cake...now I have to figure out the hydrangeas!

Haha, you crack me up! I would have LOVED this cake at my wedding, it's beautiful! Hey, you should recreate the groom's cake in your spare time (ha!) between now and the wedding - a chocolate biscuit cake filled with cookies!!!

I would prefer this cake to many a wedding cake I see...all starchy looking and perfect but seem like they would be totally tasteless. Love this. Need my address?
