Thanks for including the instructions. My daughter turns one this month, and this is the perfect cake for her first birthday!

I saw a pic of this cake the other day and though I would have tried without your tutorial do you know how nice it is to have it??! Simply beautiful. I would more likely serve it on a red plate for Valentine color than color the frosting; the white just looks so beautiful

Maja

It's amazing!!!
Thank you so much for this, I will make it for my freind wedding :)

This is absolutely perfect for an upcoming cake that I have to make for someone. You shared it with us just in the nick of time. I LOVE this idea. It certainly beats making the roses where each petal is piped on separtely. Yeahhhhh I think I feel a happy dance coming on!! :-)

Emily

Yet another great tutorial! I just shared about your easy decorating techniques and your buttercream recipe on my blog this morning! you make it look so easy!

Carine

Lucy Lean

BEAUTIFUL!

Amy's blah, blah, blogging

Thank you for this and the buttercream recipe. Ever since you put the picture out there a couple of days ago I have been researching frosting roses. They all did it with a 104 and I was able to do that, but now I'm interested in trying it with this tip instead. Got a special girl celebrating this weekend and I think she needs some purple roses for her cake!

You are such an inspiration Amanda!

BellaCouturista

Beautiful! I can't wait to try it!

shari

This cake is so beautiful! I have a baby shower in a few weeks... I will definitely be giving this the ol' College try. They are having a girl, so the pink coloring will be perfect - although white is classic. I'll let you know how it turns out!

Hi Amanda,
First, I love your blog!! It's so fun to see what you create! Second, I noticed that you didn't use a coupler with the 1M tip...did this present any problems? Thanks!

Caroline

This is incredibly beautiful.

Ashley Lee

How gorgeous! Thank you SO much for posting this tutorial! My daughter's baptism is in two weeks and I have been trying to come up with an elegant design for a cake for afterwards. She adores pink and roses. After viewing your tutorial I have figured out what I'm going to create. I am going to make a pink rose cake! I'm so thankful for having a plan now.

How do you think mixing light pink and hot pink roses would look together on a cake? Or should I just stick to one color? Thanks again!

Cat
