Is it ok if I post my halloween pictures a week after halloween? Cause I am sorta behind.
For the last few years we have been going to our church's Trunk -or- Treat. Its a great way for the kids to get outside, be with friends, get lots of candy... but not have to see scary or gory costumes.
(everyone is always very concerned about our sweet Eddie. See, mama forgot his socks!!)
Love my little cowboy.
And fireman. :)
I hope its not too late to ask... what did you all do? Did you confiscate your kids candy like I did? Did you dress your kiddies up? I just gotta know! :)
Oh my goodness...your family is so, so darling!

Confiscate or eat their candy? Which one are you really asking? :)
We went trick or treating at a neighborhood with lots of older retired folks who make a big fuss over the kids and their costumes. You can see what my kiddos were this year on my blog.
Love the post processing on the pic of your cowboy! Awesome.

They look so cute!!!
I didn't personally get to go...I was sick. My husband took the kiddos. All the chocolate candy goes in the deep freeze to be smashed and put in cookies or for long road trips.
The gluten-free fruity candy will go to LMM's school for when they have parties/birthdays so he gets a treat too.
The suckers and other hard candies get double bagged and sent in the Operation Christmas Child boxes our church does.
Bubble gum and Tootsie Rolls either get saved for when "Pop Pop" is here or we pitch them. Candy in any other categories not mentioned...pitched :o)

Your kids are adorable! This year my older girl was an 80's teen, younger girl dubbed herself Cyndi Lauper, the older twin was a cowboy and the younger was Ironman.
Every year on Halloween we invite family and friends over, the ladies take the kids out trick or treating, and the men stay at our our house passing candy out while hanging out around the fire pit. We usually go up and down two long streets, come back and let the kids roast hot dogs over the fire, and of course they start rummaging through their loot! Some go back out, some stay behind. Always a good time.
