My Photo

Who Am I?

  • My life as a wife, mother, and child of God. I can tell a good joke, but only at my own expense. I can tell ya how to parent, but only by first failing. And I can tell you how to get to Heaven, but you gotta get there on your own.

Ahhhh, I love the matching polo's I cannot believe how big your little girl is. Time goes by way to fast. Im glad you were able to geat some great photos at the pumpkin patch. Your family is so cute......no really they are!!
P.S. I went for a walk the other day and walked down that road behind your house and got to take a peek at your adorable back yard. You have it so cute and homey back there, with a little trail. I have to admit I had a streak of jealousy go through me.

We have a giant chair here in Tennessee. And we used to have the World's Largest Cedar Bucket (for realz), but then some vandals burned it down. Booooo.

Bethany

We hit up the pumpkin patch yesterday! No matching shirts for us, though. You got some great pictures! Glad you had a day to enjoy!

I think this is amazing! We've mentioned wanting to do something like this every fall, and somehow we manage to never make it happen!

Oh goodness ...

I will say, however, that if you love on your kids endlessly and make them realize how much of a priority they are in your life, 10 years from now they will still want to hold your hand (just maybe in the privacy of your car instead of the public eye at the pumpkin patch)! I have an almost-14-year-old girl who still treasures in that sweet time, and we've only been in each other's lives for almost four years.

God has been good to us in that regard, and I think He will be good to you, too!

I miss you, beautiful friend! Let's get together for real sometime :)

Kristen

I love the pumpkin patch. What a fun fun day for your family!

Andrea

Grown up kids like strolling through pumpkin patches, too. Believe me.

Christy

I've been a very crummy friend/reader. The kids are getting so big, how's it possible that you have a 5 year old now? I love the pictures and I want more big chairs in my life, I can tell you now that at 10, Jacob would probably not be overly "thrilled" with being made to sit in it, but I'd make him anyways. Sigh...it goes by just way too fast. I love that you enjoy the big and little moments.
