Who Am I?

  • My life as a wife, mother, and child of God. I can tell a good joke, but only at my own expense. I can tell ya how to parent, but only by first failing. And I can tell you how to get to Heaven, but you gotta get there on your own.

oh my. I can relate to everything you just said. All I can say is the joys of motherhood! LOL

That about sums up that stage! You have an uncanny ability to sum up kids in a few short words. I could learn from you. :)

I have three boys, this pretty much sums them up to a tee. I love how the message of not wasting food is sinking in, but that means if they drop a crumb on the ground outside, they pick it up and pop it into their mouths. I'll take whatever victory I can get though. :)

Isn't motherhood grand? :)

So true and funny. This post reminded me of some of the writings by Erma Bombeck (I don't know if you've heard of her) but her books are hilarious.

I love this. Great insights and it's always good (and needed) to find the humor in these days of child rearing, isn't it?

oh man... the manners and etiquette really hits home these days... the joys of boys :)

Just wait, it gets better! You don't have teenagers yet.

Oh this cracked me up!! Thanks so much for sharing! :)

I so hear you on the burping and farting thing. I think it helps to think of positive things. :)

Love it!

I have an uncanny ability to belch very.loudly.
And I used to be quite proud of it. (Still am. Just on more of a private level.. LOL!)
When I was in college I was a camp counselor and made my site director laugh because I would belch loudly, and then in a tiny little voice say, "Excuse me!"
It isn't only your kids. *sheepish grin*

So, so true!!! And one more to add to the fun! ;)

cleaning up the Walmart parking lot??? That could make for a full day activity :D

James MacDonald (You know, one of our favorite preachers), said just last week that another way to say Amen in today's language is End of Story.
So let me just say it!
End of Story, sister!

You captured it perfectly!

The Lumberjack's Wife

There are so many good and bad habits of kids. Some kids are calm and some are aggressive. Some kids play independently and some kids need someone who play with them. So kids always be mischievous and innocent.
