Who Am I?

  • My life as a wife, mother, and child of God. I can tell a good joke, but only at my own expense. I can tell ya how to parent, but only by first failing. And I can tell you how to get to Heaven, but you gotta get there on your own.

Congratulations!! Looks like an interesting author--I'll have to keep my eyes open for him. "Bold and righteous (the good kind)". :-)

It is refreshing to know someone is willing to speak on these topics because so many are unwilling.

Elizabeth

Well, I am not surprised AT ALL about your win!!! Woo-hoo! And I can't wait to try these cupcakes! You have pictures, right?

I've never heard of Hank, but will definitely check into his book. Thanks for the rec! And, how beautiful that you are donating your winnings. You have a big heart there, girlie!

Christy

Congratulations!!! Thanks for sharing the link! I truly have a passion for apologetics, although I'm still very "young" at it and have so much to learn, it's still such an awesome part of our ministry and so very important!!!!

Bethany

Woo-Hoo!!! I'm so excited for you. God has blessed you with incredible talent! It's awesome that you are using cupcakes to bring glory to Him.

Oh, and the cupcakes sound wonderful. My father-in-law is a hazelnut addict. I wonder if they have a group for that? I'm still looking for the group to help me with my addiction...new baby smell. :)

Kara C.

wow, you are way too humble! Congratulations and what a way to make a difference with your earnings! I am intrigued by this book now and will have to check it out.

Good for you!! You are incredible and so awesome (and I am not just saying that because you sent me a card and paid me for what I told you "toforgetabout"..) Just don't be surprised if you find more surprises in your mailbox. :)

Jenney

WOWZERS! Congratulations!
I baked a red white and blue cake this weekend. And as I dumped the store bought cake mix into the pan, I thought about you. "Hmm, bet Amanda wouldn't do this". And then as I frosted it I thought "I bet Amanda's would look better than this". And then as it slipped off the top of the ice chest on the way to the church picnic I thought "hmmm, I bet Amanda has a better way to transport cakes than this". And then when only one piece of this red-white-and blue mess of a cake was eaten and the rest went home with me I thought "I bet Amanda doesn't ever get to take THIS much of her cake home!" And that is where I had you beat. Your cakes look better, probably taste better, & everyone loves them...but in the end, we got to have more cake at home :o) Have a great day, love your blog~

OhMyWord
this is hilarious.  But dare I say, not only would I do all of those
things, I HAVE done those things!  I cant PAY some family members to eat
what I bake, and every time I bring something to church I bring something home.  EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

I think God just likes to keep my ego in check.

And thank goodness for that!!

Be blessed-

Amanda

Congrats! Delighted to meet you today. I hope you don't mind if I splash around a bit to get to know you. This looks like a delightful spot to slip off my shoes and drench myself in goodness.
