10 SMALL things that make my everyday
a little better…
1. Sea salt. I love adding a dash to the things I am cooking… it always makes me feel more like the wonderful chefs on television.
2. A teapot. This winter I became obsessed with hot cocoa, so this teapot, which we have had for 7 years, all of a sudden got used! Then I realized I could use it to heat my organic rolled oats (oatmeal) for breakfast. Now my teapot gets used at least twice a day!
3. The magic eraser. Ever used one? They bring me such joy. Things that I used to dread cleaning (the tub, toilet, sinks, floors, tables, countertops, walls) are now clean in moments!
4. Vitamins/supplements. I love feeding my kids healthy, raw, natural, and organic foods because I know how essential and amazing it is for their growing bodies. But honestly, I don’t always do it. And I don’t always do it for me either. That’s why I appreciate how beneficial supplements can be, and I get a little relief in the ‘mommies guilt’ department.
5. Bible. Let me be more specific. Blueletterbible.com. In all my Bible studies and blog research and general studies I am often sitting at my computer. I just love being able to pull up blueletterbible.com and have 16 different versions at my fingertips. Praise God!
6. My glasses. I just got this new pair and I already adore them. They fit. They are cute, and I like wearing them. I don’t even feel guilty for not wearing contacts!
7. Bottled water. The convenience of it makes my life easier. I love water. It is honestly my favorite beverage. And the amount I drink… at home, in my car, wherever we go… makes drinking it out of bottles so much easier. (I do recycle)
8. My camera. I adore it. I wish I could take a picture of it. It has brought me to tears and into fits of laughter. It has saved memories I would have long forgotten. It has shared life’s moments with those who are not near.
9. The trusty old vacuum. I use mine for everything. Not only do I vacuum, I dust, I organize, I sweep… my vacuum is my quick fix tool and I always, and I mean ALWAYS, feel better after vacuuming up a dirty surface.
10. My blog. Its nice to get comments and new readers and share photos, but that’s not really why I do it. I can tell you in all honesty that I feel such a sense of accomplishment after I post something of my kids or from my heart. I really believe I can look back on this little ole blog and be proud of who I represented.
And that’s a bright spot in my day.

Cute! I love my vacuum too, it's awesome. I whip it out, use the attachments, and everything is all better. And I, too, am a water freak. Except I am lucky and we have awesome well water and I have like a zillion re-usable water bottles lying around, in my purse, in the car, etc. My hubby gets annoyed cuz when we go out to eat I always request that they leave an entire pitcher of water at the table because they never come refill my glass often enough. Did you get my email yesterday?

Those ARE wonderful things that would make anyone's life a little better. I am going to have to think on my list to narrow it down to just 10 lol.
Blessings,
Kim
