LOL sneaky, and cute. :)

megan @ whatmegansmaking

cute! (as usual) :) Can you tell me what you use to write on cookies like that? Is it just a small tip? They look so good - must take lots of practice (and a really steady hand) :)

TidyMom

GREAT message Amanda!!........being the mom of a 23yr it's always a thought in my mind every nigh she is out!! Thankfully her and her friends are fantastic about ALWAYS having a dd, and they all take turns being it!!

Great reminder on this night!!........it's why we stay in.

Happy New Year!

Stephanie

you are such a creative lady. :)

Marcia

Amanda,
the only thing that came to mind when I initially saw the cookies (before reading) was a song by Edward Sharpe called "Home"! Listen if you get a chance, it was actually the first dance song for a bride and groom at a wedding we attended 2 weeks ago in Montana.
Otherwise, great and cute idea! the cookies look yummy!

Shaina (Food for My Family)

So cute! I love them.

Liz (Its a cupcake world)

haha when I saw the first picture I was a little confused.. but then I read the rest of it. Cute!

Lisa McBrayer

Great idea! Love those babies!

Stephane

Clever enough to make *everyone* REALLY look and find the real message! ; )

SweetSugarBelle

GREAT IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ragina

Well, I was thinking if someone had 1 to many on New Years Eve, they just might say to someone " Will you come home with me?
I'm sure that will happen somewhere in this world on New Years Eve. HeeeHeee
My favorite new word I learned from you this year Amanda.....Anywho!!!!
I love it!! I say and type it alot.
Ohhh I plan on eatin' lots of cookies and wish I had dozen of yours.....maybe someday!

marla {family fresh cooking}

Amanda, this is a whimsical way to spread the most important message. You rock girl! The most booze I will have will be in that pudding I made. Nothing more, I could be anyone's designated driver. Happy New Year my friend. XO

Great idea! At first I thought you were getting a little saucy!

Lovelyxbones from LJ

You know, I first found you on LJ when (if memory serves) you posted those rainbow pancakes and everyone gave you a hard time and I got hooked on your blog immediately (if that wasn't you then I am seriously confused but still equally as addicted to your blog). I really love how optimistic and genuine you are. You really brighten up my day.

Not to mention the fact that your recipes are just crazy awesome!

Pat

Just perfect! You are so creative ~

Cookbook Queen

Can't agree more...I always stay home on NYE, mainly to avoid people who have had one too many. It's scary.

Love the cookies, as usual. Your piping is always so neat and perfect!! :)

Kim @ Quit Eating Out {Recipes to Make Dining Out a Choice, Not a Chore}

Happy, happy New Year!

Charon

Beautiful writing...any tips?

Amanda Rettke

Thanks Charon! My best tip is to practice! I would get out a piece of wax paper and start writing away... :)

Tracy

Haha, these are great! Happy New Year Amanda!! :-)

Medi

Great pictures! Cookies with a message, what a cute and delicious idea.

Sue

I must admit, I was a little concerned when I first read the cookie message, but I KNEW you wouldn't let me down! :) Great idea for a message cookie on NYE!

Pernille

Rose in Ohio

You are always full of the best surprises!
May God bless you richly in 2011!

NGJmommy

Love the cookies and the writing. What type of consistancy do you use? Is this piping gel or royal icing? What tip number did you use? Can't wait to see what comes this year! Love your blog:)

grace

that IS a good message, but you clearly would have to be careful. they could lead to a lot of confusion if they found their way into the wrong hands. :)

Tasty Tart

I love the reminder. It's very creative of you.

naomi

I love it. I love a good ad. That one is definitely a good one, so yeah, or your cookie made me smile!
